About our scheme
Whatever your age or walking ability, we have a range of reliable products to ensure people with walking difficulties or disabilities can access shops and local amenities.
Equipment can be hired by anyone with mobility issues, whether this is due to age, disability or injury.
Our hire service is managed by Sheffield BID’s Welcome Team, and our friendly staff can also provide a 'meet and greet' service to the Q-Park car park on Charles Street or Arundel Gate Bus Interchange if requested in advance.
Please note that Mobile Sheffield equipment is available for hire for use in and around the city centre on a daily basis. Equipment hire is currently available between 10am and 4pm Wednesday to Saturday and between 10am and 3pm on Sundays.
If you require hire on a Monday or Tuesday we may be able to accommodate your request, but this is subject to the availability of Mobile Sheffield staff. Please email info@mobilesheffield.co.uk with details of your request.
